Mortgages and loans

Add the loan once and mark each payment paid. RentJar splits interest from principal, so paying down the loan isn’t counted as a loss. Paying extra or paying it off early is covered too.

Rent increases, on time

Set the increase and how often it applies for each tenant. When it’s due, RentJar shows the new rent on Home and you confirm it.

What is RentJar?

RentJar is a rent tracker app for landlords. It keeps rent, tenants, expenses and mortgage payments for every property you own in one place, and shows your monthly profit and how much of your investment has come back.

Who is it for?

Small landlords who own one or a few properties: a rented apartment, a duplex or fourplex, a building of flats, or a few houses. If you track rent in a notebook or spreadsheet today, RentJar is made for you.

Do I need to create an account?

No. RentJar has no sign-up and no server. Everything you enter is stored on your phone only and is never uploaded.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. You can add rent and expenses anywhere, even with no signal.

Which currencies does it support?

All major currencies, including US dollars and Indian rupees. Payment methods, loan words and number formats follow the currency you choose.

Can I bring my data from a spreadsheet?

Yes. You can import entries from a CSV file and export a backup of your data at any time.

Is RentJar free?

Free covers one property and one loan, with every feature: tenants, rent, expenses, profit, real cost, CSV import and export, app lock and WhatsApp receipts. RentJar Pro unlocks unlimited properties and loans.
